Organic Specialties Group, a subsidiary of Ferro, developed a new calcium stearate additive for rigid polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyolefin: powdered calcium stearate 500 and granular calcium stearate 600. According to the introduction of these new products, compared with the traditional calcium stearate additives, surface properties can be improved in applications such as door and window profiles and packaging films, as well as being economical to process.
