According to a report in the October issue of the US magazine LMA, the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry Chinese Academy of Science, Changchun, Jilin Province has developed a high-strength, high-strength Degrees, weldable and deformed rare earth magnesium alloys, patented in the U.S. Patent No. 7,708,937 B2. Alloy composition (% by mass): 0.7 to 1.7 lanthanum rare earth, 5.5 to 6.4 Zn, 0.45 to 0.8 Zr, si, fe, Cu, and Ni are impurities, the sum is less than 0.2, and the balance is Mg. Among the rare earth elements rich in antimony, in addition to antimony, there must also be one or more other rare earth elements, the amount of which is 6.3% to 25% of the amount of rare earth elements added.
